Hi! Glad you’re here. I approach life with optimism and curiosity, and I have a talent for tactful, often amusing honesty. I particularly love old homes and all that entails– the history, timeless charm and yes, the endless opportunities for DIY projects. I’m always learning new things and picking up new skills. People often ask, “why real estate?”– in part because I don’t give the impression that it’s something I’d be into. I’m an artist, auto mechanic and activist. I’m rebellious, with less interest in fitting in than my desire to improve the world around me.
So, here’s my “why”.
Three years ago, I had family who died preventable deaths for want of a stable home. I am yet blessed with more loved ones than I can count; most come from the same economically uncertain background. After the losses, I swore that someday I’d be in a position where nobody I cared about would face such ends again.
And so, I began building– my family, my community, myself. Eventually, my spouse and I were able to buy a house with enough space to keep building and to shelter those we care about. And now I’m here, not only to protect my commitment but also because my lost family members weren’t outliers from the system. They were symptoms of problems within it.
One of them worked her tail off as a CNA; she actually could have afforded a house with a lower mortgage than her rent… But we didn’t know that at the time. An assumption was made that so many people in the working class make: “I’m barely making enough to get by as it is, there’s no way I could afford a house!”
And that’s my clientele: hard-working folk who don’t realize how close they are to stability and security. My database of available programs for low-income homebuyers is growing all the time. I dream of creating even more new opportunities in the future.
I’m committed, resourceful and above all, I look to the well-being of others in all I do. If that’s the sort of agent you’re looking for, then you’ve arrived. I look forward to helping you learn how close you are to the life you want.

Why is this linked to my art website?
So many reasons. First and foremost, I value having the ability to do things on my own terms. Running things from my own domain allows that. Most firms are using generative AI now and I do not (and will never!)– but only if I use my own systems. It’s important to me that I pursue my goals without compromising my ethics and who I am.
Secondly, my biggest art fans already know that finding ways to bridge communities and bring them together is what I do. I have an inkling, too, that my background in the arts will come in handy in my real estate endeavors– as an example, what better listing agent than one who can assist in staging, and link you to other creatives that can get your home sale-ready? As an activist, I know what problems my communities are facing and have a network of solution-minded peers who care just as much about creating change as I do.
